Attorney Ashley M. Wagner Joins Black McCuskey Law Firm
(January 2012) - Black McCuskey is pleased to announce that Ashley M. Wagner has joined the firm as an associate. She focuses her practice in the areas of Environmental Law, Health Care and Workers’ Compensation.
Ashley was most recently an Assistant Attorney General in the Environmental Enforcement Section of the Ohio Attorney General’s Office. She litigated civil enforcement actions for violations of Ohio’s water pollution control laws, represented the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency before the Environmental Review Appeals Commission, and criminally prosecuted various environmental law violations. In addition, she worked for three years as an Assistant Attorney General in the Health Care Fraud Section. Ashley presented felony cases to a special Grand Jury and prosecuted cases relating to obtaining dangerous drugs, theft, workers’ compensation fraud, forgery and tampering with records.
A graduate of Capital University School of Law, Ashley served as both an assistant and research editor for the Capital University Law Review. She also worked as a research assistant and law clerk for the Columbus City Attorney’s Office while in law school.
Ashley is a member of the Stark County Bar Association, Tuscarawas County Bar Association and Ohio State Bar Association.
