Attorneys Bob Preston & Tim Fox Elected to Tuscarawas County Bar Association Officer Positions

(December 2011) - Black McCuskey is pleased to announce that two attorneys have been elected to officer positions with the Tuscarawas County Bar Association. Bob Preston has been named President and Tim Fox named Vice President for 2012.

Bob focuses his practice in the areas of Civil Litigation, Construction and Creditors’ Rights/Collections. Since joining the firm, he has been very active in the Litigation and Construction practice areas. Bob has represented clients in litigation in more than one fourth of Ohio’s Common Pleas Courts and both of Ohio’s Federal District Courts. Bob has also appeared and argued numerous matters in Ohio’s Fifth, Tenth and Eighth Appellate Districts.

Active in his community, Bob is a board member of the East Central Ohio Building Industry Association and President of the Tuscarawas County Board of Developmental Disabilities. He is a member of the Ohio and Stark County Bar Associations. In 2007, he was appointed outside counsel for collections by the Ohio Attorney General’s Office. Bob is also a graduate of the 5th class of Leadership Tuscarawas County.

Tim focuses his practice in the areas of civil litigation, collections, and family law. Before joining Black McCuskey, he was a judicial extern for the Honorable Herman J. Weber of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and a law clerk for the Cincinnati law firm of Montgomery, Rennie, and Jonson.

In addition, Tim is a Councilman for the city of North Canton, a retired Air Force chief Master Sergeant, and is a member of the Ohio State and Stark County Bar Associations. He is a member of North Canton’s Chamber of Commerce, a former board member of the Rotary Club of Canton, and a board member of North Canton Business Network International. Tim provides free legal services as a volunteer for Southeastern Ohio Legal Services and is an active volunteer for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Stark and Carroll Counties.
