Ice Cream Social Benefits the Early Childhood Resource Center
(July 2010) - Black McCuskey was one of four companies to sponsor an ice cream booth at July’s First Friday event in downtown Canton. The sponsorship supported The Early Childhood Resource Center. Each company created their own ice cream flavor and was part of a friendly competition to be voted "best flavor." Each team served their ice cream at their booth from 6 to 9 p.m.
Black McCuskey's flavor was called "McCuskey's Masterpiece...I can't believe it's legal!" It consisted of vanilla ice cream, peanut butter swirls, Reese's cups and brownie pieces. Milk & Honey made the ice cream and donated it for the event. Almost 2,000 ice cream lovers visited the ice cream social fundraiser and they were asked to vote on their favorite flavor. After all of the votes were tallied, Black McCuskey was announced the winner! Milk & Honey featured the flavor during the month of July.
