Attorney Holly Baer Passes the Ohio State Bar Exam

Black McCuskey is pleased to announce that Attorney Holly M. Baer recently passed the Ohio State bar exam. She began her career at the firm as a summer associate in 2022.
Holly focuses her practice in the areas of Business, Estate Planning, and Real Estate. She graduated cum laude from The University of Akron School of Law. While attending law school, Holly served as President of the Business Law Society and Vice President of the Akron Law Trial Team. She also received the Cali of Excellence Award in Trial Advocacy and competed across the country in the National Board of Trial Advocacy Tournament of Champions, the Texas Young Lawyers Association National Trial Competition, and the National Civil Trial Competition in Santa Monica, California. Additionally, Holly served as a certified legal intern with the Portage County Domestic Relations Clinic. She also worked as a law clerk at a litigation firm in Youngstown, Ohio.
Holly is a graduate of the Walsh University Deville School of Business where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in finance and minored in accounting. She has also held an Ohio Real Estate Salesman license since 2016 and has over a decade of experience working in the real estate and auction industry.

Holly is a native of Columbiana County and currently resides in Plain Township. She is currently serving a three-year term as a director of the North Canton Area Chamber of Commerce and, is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Stark County Bar Association, the Youngstown-Columbiana Association of Realtors, the Federalist Society, the Scanlon Bell American Inn of Courts, and a long-time supporter of the Columbiana County Agriculture Society and 4-H Program.
