Attorney Rod A. Moore Selected for Twenty under 40! Class of 2020

Black McCuskey is pleased to announce that attorney Rod A. Moore has been named as one of 20 outstanding young leaders under the age of 40 by ystark!, a department of the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce, and The Repository.

Nominees were selected based on career acumen, community service and trusteeship, and personal and professional achievements. The Twenty under 40! selection committee is comprised of business and community leaders representing a range of industry sectors from around Stark County.

Rod is an associate with Black McCuskey and focuses his practice in the areas of business, real estate, banking, and trademark law. He is a magna cum laude graduate of The University of Akron, School of Law.   Prior to attending the University of Akron, School of Law, Rod obtained his bachelor’s degree in Government and Foreign Affairs at Walsh University. He obtained minor degrees in economics and general business from Walsh as well. Rod graduated magna cum laude and completed the Walsh University Honors Program.

Rod is a graduate of the 31st class of the Leadership Stark County Signature program. He is a member of the Stark Bar Association Young Lawyers Committee and an active member of ystark!. Rod and his family reside in Green and he is a member of the City of Green Parks and Recreation Board and currently the Chair of the Pipeline Settlement Advisory Committee. Additionally, he is an Adjunct Business Professor at Walsh University. His appreciation for the arts has led him to serve on the Board of Directors for ArtsinStark. During law school, he served as a volunteer for the Certificate of Qualification for Employment Clinic, Akron Law Cares and the University of Akron, School of Law Mentorship Program. Rod is a member of the Cleveland Intellectual Property Law Association (CIPLA) and a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA).
