Department of Labor Update on Families Coronavirus Response Act

The Department of Labor issued a poster today, March 25, 2020, that all covered employers are required to post in a conspicuous location.  A link to the poster required to be posted by covered private employers follows: POSTER

Additionally, the Department of Labor indicated that the FFCRA, including the paid leave requirements and extended Family and Medical Leave Act requirements, will become effective on April 1, 2020, not April 2, 2020, as originally anticipated.  The Department of Labor also indicated that more regulations will be forthcoming, including regulations on potential exclusions for small businesses.
