Julia G. Radefeld Becomes a Full-Time Attorney

Black McCuskey is pleased to announce that Julia G. Radefeld is now a full-time Associate Attorney. She focuses her practice in intellectual property, business law and commercial transactions.

Julia earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Case Western Reserve University where she was an undergraduate researcher focusing on titanium dental implants and energy consumption in northeastern Ohio. While attending law school, she was a Metallurgical Engineer for a major steel company for five years. Julia joined Black McCuskey in 2017 as an Intellectual Property Law Clerk and soon after, earned her Juris Doctor degree from The University of Akron School of Law. She received the CALI Excellence Award in business planning law and a certificate in intellectual property.

“Julia produced excellent work as a law clerk and we are extremely pleased to have her at the firm as a full-time attorney. She is an integral team member of the intellectual property practice group,” said Bruce Soares, Managing Partner.

Julia is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Stark County Bar Association and the Akron Bar Association. Additionally, she is a member of CIPLA (Cleveland Intellectual Property Law Association) and PSIA (Professional Ski Instructors of America).
