Black McCuskey is pleased to announce that Attorney Gregory S. Warder and LeAnne M. Kiko have joined the firm.
Greg is an attorney with over 16 years of experience. He most recently was employed by Diebold Nixdorf North America as vice president, general counsel and held global positions, both legal and business, including responsibility for Diebold’s global spend and successful cost reduction initiatives and served as Diebold’s first global chief contracting officer developing standards, templates, and deal review processes. He received his Juris Doctor degree from The University of Akron School of Law in 2000. Prior to that, Greg earned a master’s degree from Kent State University focusing on international business and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, Procurement and Production Operations Management.
At Black McCuskey, Greg focuses on a wide range of general counsel advisory services with emphasis on creating legal strategies that support and add to value to the business, improving business performance through effective agreements inclusive of service level agreements and other metrics, managing/reducing spend, proactive and strategic/proactive contract management and compliance. His specialties include: management of legal affairs for a publicly traded company, corporate transformation, go to market strategies for new products, software and services, outsourcing, ethics and compliance. He also has significant experience in litigation management, commercial/business negotiations, anti-trust, treasury services, software licensing, Intellectual Property management, mergers and acquisitions, Hart-Scott-Rodino, cash in transit services, investigations, IT/technology services, banking regulations, revenue recognition standards, leasing, insurance, service level agreements (SLAs), risk management, contract manufacturing, spend management and supply chain, international import/export/trade, leadership, strategy, global budget and cost reduction leadership, negotiations, contract management and consulting services. Committed to his community, Greg serves as Vice Chairman of the Board for the YMCA of Central Stark County and has provided service for various charitable organizations and non-profit organizations.
LeAnne received her Juris Doctor degree from The University of Akron School of Law in 2016 graduating magna cum laude. She holds a master’s degree in business administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Management from Walsh University. Prior to joining Black McCuskey, LeAnne was employed by Diebold Nixdorf North America for 10 years. Her most recent role was senior contract manager where she interfaced with global clients leading with the review and negotiation of commercial contracts. Her area of expertise and focus at the firm is in managing all aspects of client contracts. LeAnne also serves as secretary for the Ohio Archers Association as well as assisting other area non-profit organizations.
