Update on Ohio’s Stay-at-Home Order and Essential Businesses

Recently, Lt. Governor Husted advised that if businesses believe they fall within the “essential” categories of business that are allowed to continue operations, the business needs to be prepared to explain its reasoning for taking such a position and also be prepared to demonstrate its compliance with Section 18 of the Stay-at-Home Order.

Section 18 sets forth a checklist of steps that businesses and employers are required to take to promote a safe working environment for their employees.
