Zachary "Zack" Hawks is a dedicated associate at Black McCuskey, and his diverse practice spans estate planning, probate and trust administration, business and corporate law, real estate law, and intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
Zack guides clients of all scales, assisting them in safeguarding themselves, their families, and their assets both during their lifetimes and after their passing. His experience extends to counseling businesses in intricate merger and acquisition transactions. In the field of Intellectual Property, Zack primarily works to prepare and prosecute trademark applications. With a keen eye for detail, he guides his clients thoroughly to ensure they are equipped with the most strategic and tailored solution.
During his tenure at the University of Akron School of Law, Zack's passion for law and intellectual property led him to serve as a Production Editor and Assistant Editor at the Akron Law Review. His legal journey was highlighted by a rigorous focus on intellectual property law, culminating in the attainment of both a J.D. and an LL.M. in Intellectual Property. Prior to his legal pursuits, Zack earned a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Ohio University, showcasing his multifaceted expertise.
Zack is a member of the Akron Bar Association, the Stark County Bar Association, and the Ohio State Bar Association.
